Stepparents Income May Be Relevant In Child Support Cases
In the recently published child support cases of J.P.D. v W.E.D. PICS No. 15-0740 (Pa. Super. May 5, 2015), the Superior Court determined that a trial court’s upward deviation of an additional $700 a month was not an abuse of discretion where it was demonstrated that the father’s new wife was wealthy and he did not have to rely on his income to support himself.
